Moorcourt Holiday Cottages are located in beautiful rural countryside within touching distance of the gorgeous Peak District National Park, and is within 20 minutes of Alton Towers and just 5 minutes away from the local village.

From M1 Motorway
Leave the M1 Motorway at Junction 24 and join the A50 to Stoke-on-Trent. After approximately 23 miles on the A50 you will encounter the first roundabout to Uttoxeter, proceed on the A50 to the second roundabout (Little Chef on the roundabout) Stay on the A50 for a further 0.4 miles and take the left turn onto the A522 signposted to Uttoxeter, Upper Tean and Cheadle.
Leave the M1 Motorway at Junction 24 and join the A50 to Stoke-on-Trent. Follow the A522 through Fole / Checkley after the sign for the Red Lion pub on your left. Turn onto Leigh Lane (If you pass the Dog and Partridge pub you have missed us, turn around and take 1st right onto Leigh Lane). Proceed over stone hump backed bridge, round several bends up incline, under dual carriageway. Proceed straight ahead (do not take turn for Church Leigh) you will come to sharp left hand turn with a right hand turn follow this narrow lane we are straight ahead at the bottom.

FROM THE NORTH
Leave the M6 at Junction 16 and join the A500 and join the A50 signposted to Uttoxeter and Derby.
FROM THE NORTH
Leave the M6 at Junction 16 and join the A500 and join the A50 signposted to Uttoxeter and Derby.
FROM THE SOUTH
Leave the Motorway at Junction 15 and join the A500 to Stoke-on-Trent. After approximately 1.4 miles leave the A500 and join the A50 signposted to Uttoxeter and Derby

Stay on the A50 for 5.8 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit sign posted Blythe Bridge, Upper Tean and Cheadle. Stay on this road (you will pass through Draycott) You will pass through Tean highstreet. Follow road around sharp right hand bend. Take the first right hand turn after the Dog and Partridge pub into Leigh Lane. Follow land over hump backed bridge around bends up incline, under dual carriageway. Carry on until sharp left hand bend with right hand turn. Follow narrow lane to bottom we are facing you. Drive into courtyard. Park outside your cottage.
