Situated in rural surroundings but just twenty minutes from town and the popular Alton Towers, these three self contained cottages are an ideal place to stay for family gatherings, wedding guests, short or long breaks and in-between buying and selling property.
Moorcourt holiday cottages have been awarded four stars by the English Tourism Council and are inspected every year. All three cottages are situated adjoining each other in the courtyard of a 17th century Georgian style farmhouse and have been tastefully converted from former farm buildings and coach house into unique quality comfortable, warm, modern but traditional accommodation with a relaxing décor which will delight families, couples and groups. We are situated in a quiet country lane with rural surroundings over looking the river Blythe. The cottages have private rear gardens with seating areas there is parking in the courtyard and storage for cycles. Fully central heated, towels and linen are inclusive. The view from the gardens is lovely and rural, very peaceful and relaxing .
The gardens are an ideal place to relax after the hectic day visiting the local attractions that this area has to offer, may be with a few drinks and alfresco dining.
Moorcourt cottages are in Leigh Lane off the A522 between the village of Tean and the Town of Uttoxeter. We are only twenty minutes from Alton Towers and five minutes from the village high street where there are all the local amenities of take-a-way food, local store with cash point, chemist and petrol station.
